Will Skelton and Dr. Yaping Ji published their paper on the design and field testing of a hybrid concentrator photovoltaic-thermal system that collects a portion of the incoming sunlight using triple-junction CPV cells and generates high temperature thermal output in the same receiver. The system is competitive with natural gas prices, providing a promising solution to address net-zero-energy goals in commercial and industrial applications. This work was chosen by the journal Nature as a Research Highlight. Read all about it here.
