Mason Belue is from Fort Smith, Arkansas and goes to school at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. He is pursuing his B.A. in Chemical Engineering as a pre-med. His research experience involves nanoparticle synthesis for water remediation, investigating electrochemical bath additives for nanofilm growth, and studying dielectric optical resonators and metasurfaces. When Mason is not in the lab, he enjoys cycling, listening to classical music, and being an amateur photographer.

Favorite things about New Orleans: The Creole Creamery, Syndey and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden, and Café Du Monde.
