Teethiya had her Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) in 2019 from KUET, Bangladesh. After graduation, she worked for several industries, contributing to the areas of telecommunications. In 2025, she completed her MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. Her current research is on 2D optoelectronic materials. Apart from research, she has an interest in travelling.
