Dr. Qi Xu’s paper entitled “Transmissive concentrator multijunction solar cells with over 47% in-band power conversion efficiency” was published in Applied Physics Letters. This paper reports a major part of the continuous work on the hybrid solar energy converter (FOCUS) project in the group, and it highlights the design and characterization of the transmissive high efficiency III-V multijunction solar cells used to build the spectrum splitting CPV module.
